Remote Learning Information

Purpose

We aim to ensure pupils can continue learning when they cannot attend school in person (e.g. closures, restrictions, illness). Our remote provision follows DfE guidance and is designed to minimise disruption, keep pupils engaged, and safeguard their wellbeing.

Lead Responsibility

The Principal is responsible for overseeing delivery of remote education.

Roles

  • Teachers – plan lessons, set work, provide feedback, and maintain regular contact.
  • Support staff – provide targeted support and small-group activities.
  • IT team – manage Google Classroom, access, and troubleshooting.
  • Parents/carers & pupils – engage with lessons, submit work, and communicate any issues.

Continuing Learning

Our remote learning provision helps pupils continue their education whenever they are unable to attend school, ensuring learning remains consistent and disruption is kept to a minimum.

Supporting Every Learner

Successful remote learning relies on a shared commitment between school, pupils and parents. We work together to provide the guidance, resources and communication needed to help every pupil remain engaged and continue making progress.

Learning from Home

Pupils, parents and staff all play an important role in making remote learning successful. Clear communication and regular engagement help ensure pupils continue to learn with confidence.
